There are a few things to keep in mind to safely extend the life of your candle.

• Your wick should arrive pre-trimmed for your convenience, however before you light your wooden wick candle for the first time, please ensure the wick is trimmed to 1/8"-3/16".
• Trim the wick to that same height before every burn and only trim it after the wax has cooled and is solid. This will prevent trimmings and debris from falling into the hot wax.
• Only burn your candle on a level, heat resistant surface that is away from drafts, pets, children, and anything that may be flammable.
• Never burn your candle in a motor vehicle or while you’re asleep.
• Stop burning when ½” of unmelted wax remains at the bottom of the glass.
• Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time — and lastly...
• Never, EVER leave your lit candle unattended.
